Ways of saying ‘Thank you’

How often do we say these magic words? Not enough, I guess. So here is how to say them in English & thanks for stopping by :)
THanks

Thanking

  • Thank you so much.
  • I (really) appreciate it.
  • Thanks! I couldn’t have done it without you.
  • Thanks so much for your help.
  • I’m truly/really/eternally grateful.
  • Thanks a bunch!
  • Thanks! I owe you one.
  • Thanks for your help/advice – I owe you big time!
  • Thanks for the lovely present. You shouldn’t have!
  • Thanks for the praise. You’re too kind!
  • Thanks, anyway. / Thanks, though. – when someone tried to help you, but they couldn’t.

Accepting thanks

  • You’re welcome. – this is said most often
  • No problem.
  • Don’t mention it.
  • That’s all right.
  • I’m glad I could help.
  • It’s my pleasure.
  • Not at all.
  • No sweat / No prob. – very informal
