The holidays are just around the corner, so you may want to get ready for the best Christmas and New Year’s recipes! If eggnog is one of your faves (= favorites) too, watch & learn :)

Number the steps that you need to take to make a mean (= very good) eggnog this Christmas/Chanuka & New Year’s.

 

…………….Add the alcohol – 2 oz rum (= half a deciliter) , 2 oz brandy, and 1 pint whiskey (=4,7 deciliter) and stir the mix

…………….Add the cream & chill it

…………….Dollop (= drop the beaten egg whites with a spoon into the mix) beaten egg whites into the alcohol-egg mix

…………….Grate (= cut into very small pieces) nutmeg on top & serve chilled

…………….Stir a dozen (=12) egg-yolks and mix in 1 and a half cups of sugarĀ  (= 75 grams of sugar)

…………….Beat the egg whites into a light and fluffy (=soft) mix
