VOCABULARY

backyard = garden or grassed play area behind a house

built-in shelving = shelves and doors built into the walls that can be used for storing things

cabinetry (noun) = cabinets, pieces of furniture with doors, drawers and shelves for storing things in the apartment

mulched (adjective) = covered with dirt and leaves

negotiable (adjective) = can be negotiated, discussed with the owner (e.g., price, rent)

semi-detached house = a house (usually with garden or backyard) joined to another house by a shared wall

walk-in closet = a room with no windows in the apartment which can be used for storing things (e.g., clothes)
